Jim Burrows
Principal | Landscape Architect
Jim established Jim Burrows Landscape Architecture (JBLA) in June, 2018, to better serve his clients, present and future, offering his well-rounded experience of 35 years as a licensed landscape architect.
Jim’s landscape architecture expertise spans from conceptual design and program development through project management, construction document preparation and implementation. Jim enjoys working closely with clients and consultants, promoting a collaborative team approach to achieve high-quality design solutions and overall project success.
Jim has lived in San Luis Obispo since 1995. Jim enjoys playing guitar, oil painting and hiking in the Mojave desert.
Jim established and managed the Central Coast office of Summers/Murphy & Partners from 2015 to 2018 after 20 years as a landscape architect with Firma in San Luis Obispo.

Principal | Office Manager
As a founding member of JBLA, Terry's expertise in planning and organization keeps the company on track. She manages billing and accounting for the firm, in collaboration with Jim. Her desire is to create good communication with our clients.
Terry enjoys training her dogs and admiring the ocean.
